About Me

I am currently living in Orlando, Florida serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida. I divide my time between teaching at the university and in workshop settings, theatrical and fight directing, writing, and spending time with my family.

I received my MFA in Directing from Baylor University in 2012 and also hold an MA in Speech/Theatre from Louisiana Tech University and a BA in Theatre from the University of Saint Mary.

My love of storytelling, which has always been my draw to the theatre and specifically directing, has also led to my pursuit of studies in theatrical movement. I am a certified teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD) and have studied a variety of other movement related disciplines including: Commedia Dell'Arte, Viewpoints, Biomechanics, Acrobatics, Clowning, and mime (among others).

I always enjoy opening a dialogue with other movement professionals to discover new disciplines and training opportunities for myself or my students. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or training information that you may have.
